Emotional design as sustainable design — an ode to a collective childhood memory, the Tobogan lounge chair captures the joy and comfort of the ubiquitous but unique form of the playground slide.
From the top to bottom, our eyes glide down the gentle slope of the backrest and round up to the low seating surface where we physically and emotionally sink in. The silhouette of the chair creates a deja vu yet contemplative seating moment where one slides to the bottom and pauses briefly to look up with a feeling of completeness.
